Ben Walsh
Mediator
Judging the right approach at the right time is critical to cutting through the issues, bridging gaps between parties and getting constructive solutions.
Ben Walsh (MA Cantab, MSoM) is an Accredited Civil & Commercial Mediator (London School of Mediation) registered with the Civil Mediation Council. He has conducted over 900 mediations and has a great deal of experience resolving disputes in highly emotive circumstances. Ben holds the STEP Advanced Certificate in Trust Disputes (Distinction) as well as a Certificate in Workplace & Employment Mediation. He is a Panel Mediator for Global Mediation and a member of the Society of Mediators.

Ben is instructed in cases which call for a delicate balance of emotional intelligence and commercial pragmatism. His approach ensures parties are validated and understood but he does not shy away from testing the strengths and weaknesses of each case. He helps parties consider the range of trial outcomes and the unpredictable realities of litigation.

Ben sits on the Civil Mediation Council Independent Standards Board and has spoken at the CMC's Annual Conference. He is also a Selection Panel Chair for the Judicial Appointments Commission, a Lay Member of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal and Disciplinary Panel Chair for The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.
